Groovy is Groovy

I have found a new all purpose scripting buddy: Groovy. The examples from the cookbook (batch process images, draw charts, query a database and generate XML) look pretty impressive. Over the next few weeks I hope to get into Groovy and maybe a bit of Grails in a big way. I am particularly interested in the ability for Groovy to output Ant tasks.
